Counselling and Support If you are struggling to manage your drinking, substance use or a behavioural tendency (gambling, gaming, etc.) AMHS-KFLA offers a range of rehabilitation and treatment options to support recovery. Services are delivered within a harm reduction framework that meets individuals where they are at to promote health, safety and wellness withal a spectrum of behaviours including abstinence. Individual counseling is offered for guided work through the stages of change. Professionally-facilitated, evidence-based groups write cadre issues including problem-solving, managing powerful emotions, healing from trauma, mindfulness, recovery planning, goal-setting, relapse prevention and more. Day Treatment The Day Treatment program provides daily contact for individuals requiring increasingly intensive support than individual or group counselling can offer, who may be seeking an volitional to residential treatment.  Participants are required to unzip some patientness in the polity prior to starting the program, and commit to peekaboo 5 half days per week for 4 weeks.  The program guides participants through the process of change, offering supportive strategies for self-care, stress management, emotional regulation, liaison and relapse prevention, with a focus on towers healthy relationships and self-esteem. Back on Track AMHS-KFLA is a provider of Back on Track, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s remedial measures program for wordless drivers. Our program includes comprehensive assessment, individual counselling, relapse prevention, support for family members and referrals to other agencies as appropriate. Motherwise Motherwise is a free, confidential service for individuals who are pregnant or have children weather-beaten 6 and under to write concerns well-nigh drug or swig use. Motherwise offers information, support, referrals and counseling in a nonjudgmental way that enables participants to finger unscratched and share freely.
